We’re doing it again!

After the wonderful success of ROSA’s inaugural Northern Writers Retreat last year, we’re packing our laptops, notebooks and stories and heading back to the beautiful Oakhouse Lodge in Ogies.

Picture a few glorious days where your only job is to write.

No cooking. No chores. No interruptions. Just peaceful surroundings, dedicated writing time, good conversation with fellow authors and the chance to slow down, breathe, and find your own writing voice again.

And then there’s the food…

This year we’re taking our romance around the world. Inspired by Around the World in 80 Days, every meal will transport us to a different country, with a menu inspired by its flavours and cultures. And if last year is anything to go by, the food alone is worth the trip!

Come for the uninterrupted writing time. Stay for the laughter, the friendships, the beautiful surroundings and, of course, the food.

Sometimes all a writer needs is a quiet place, a little inspiration and the freedom to simply write.
